Find out whether the West Virginia personalized plate you want is open, and get a message the second a taken one frees up - no more typing it into the DMV site every week.
Every West Virginia check goes to the West Virginia DMV personalized plate search, around the clock. That's West Virginia's own official lookup, so the answer is the state's answer at the moment we checked.
Every state also reviews requests for offensive or misleading plates, and can refuse one even if it shows as open.
Plates come back when people let them go. Instead of checking by hand, add the plate to your watch list, or set a snipe like "any 3-letter West Virginia plate", and we'll message you on Discord the moment one opens.
We don't sell or reserve plates - you order directly from the state. Full step-by-step guide.
Type the plate into License Plate Scan's dashboard or our Discord bot. We check the West Virginia DMV personalized plate search and tell you if it's open, taken.
