Where does the data come from?
Straight from each state's official DMV / BMV plate lookup. No third-party guesses - if the bot says a plate is open, that's what the state's own site said.
Which states are supported?
23 right now - check the scrolling list above or run /states in Discord. More get added as states make their lookups available.
Does the bot reserve the plate for me?
No - it tells you the moment a plate is available. You still order it through your state's DMV, so be quick.
How fast are alerts?
Every state is scanned at the same time, all day. When your snipe or watched plate opens up, the DM goes out as soon as the scan sees it.
Is it a website or a Discord bot?
Both. Log in on the website with your Discord account to use the dashboard in any browser, or use the slash commands in our Discord server. Your plan is the same in both, and alerts arrive as Discord DMs.
Why do I log in with Discord?
Your membership lives in our Discord server, so signing in with Discord is how the dashboard knows your plan. We only see your Discord name and avatar - never your messages or email.
Is this affiliated with any DMV?
No. License Plate Scan is an independent tool and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any state agency.
